The justice system faces significant challenges that threaten its foundational principles. Lawyers, judges, and the legal framework are experiencing institutional pressures that undermine the core values of equal justice under the law. I believe that it is of the utmost importance to protect the rule of law to maintain a fair and equitable system.
As lawyers, we have a duty to serve our clients with dedication while upholding the integrity of the American justice system, the rule of law, and the enduring principles of truth, integrity, and commitment to the ideal of “Justice for All,” as exemplified by Abraham Lincoln.
