ATTORNEY - Civil Litigation - Banking and Finance

 

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attorney to join our legal team at our Schaumburg office. They must have experience in Civil Litigation matters, primarily regarding mortgage foreclosure and collections. This role requires strong legal research and writing abilities, good communication skills, and initiative. The Attorney will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal advice, representing clients in court, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

 

Duties

  • Conduct thorough legal research on legal issues related to mortgage foreclosure and collections
  • Draft legal documents, including briefs, contracts, and agreements with precision and clarity.
  • Meet with clients and develop estate planning documents to meet or exceed client needs.
  • Represent clients' legal proceedings.
  • Maintain accurate records of all case-related activities and communications.
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals to ensure comprehensive representation.


Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Illinois.
  • Experience in Mortgage foreclosure and Collections
  • Portable book of business, a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing multiple clients' needs and matters simultaneously.
  • Legal research skills with proficiency in tools like Lexis-Nexis.
  • A commitment to ethical practice and continuous professional development.
